Much different from any horror game that I have played previously, It's a great experience though it manages to be be very unique compared to other scary games and creepier than I expected.

MINI REVIEW: It's a fun little game, which takes roughly 5-15 Minutes to complete. The physics with the baby Is something you can really mess around with. I defiantly had a few laugh out loud moments because of the physics. Few tiny bugs here and there but nothing game breaking. I did at one point try to pause the game by pressing Escape only to realize there wasn't a pause menu, It closed my game and I had to restart! But considering It was made In 48 hours you did a great job Team Terrible I look forward to future games. I'd give It an itch rating of 7/10
I liked this game :D It's simple but I like it. Horor games with babies are even scarier imo. The performance was a little bit meh but it didn't really matter in this game. I really liked that one jumpscare where that baby became demonic, it got me, not too hard but it got me. Also I really really loved how when you were picking the baby up from the changing table, you wanted to put it to sleep but it teleported in front of the stairs and you could see his eyes being red for like half a second, that's where I started to get chills, that was a really really nice horror element. Also when you had to get Talisman, that music was playing and it sounded like a "chase soundtrack" and it would've been even better if the baby chased you and then when you get the Talisman, it teleports back to the changing table and out of the sudden theres no music anymore as soon as you pick up the Talisman. That would've been a cool idea! :) I also loved how the baby looked (sad) at you when you had to carry it to the cot for the last time! Thanks for this experience!

We did a performance pass as part of the Post Jam Update, but the scene is still fully dynamically lit and the geo isn't cut up very well, so occlusion culling is mostly redundant and shadow casting lights are unnecessarily expensive haha. Mostly a function of taking shortcuts for the jam though :)
I try my best to give as much/the best feedback I can give and also, I am very honest with my reviews even if it's a 2/10 or 1/10 I would still post a comment (and of course with explanations and examples of why I didn't like the game or what I didn't like about it).
And thank you for explaining the cause of performance problems to me. As I said, it didn't really matter in this game :D Still enjoyed it! Though as I can see...the others didn't have problems with FPS/performance...but why? My specs are: CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti 4GB Ram: 16GB Should actually run quite good or not..?
Hey VladMan thanks for playing, it looks like you played the original jam version (made in 48 hours). We have made a number of performance and gameplay improvements since, including sounds, music, a reworked ending and new jump scares in the Post Jam Update version!
I just liked throwing the baby to be honest. It's truly a shame that I couldn't actually kill it... uh, I mean take better care of it. ;)))). But seriously, It was a good game. Improve on it a little bit and it will be amazing
Now this is a hilarious premise. Babies are weird and unpredictable, after all. And playing that for strange horror is a great idea. There are plenty of sudden surprirses I adore, and the sheer uncanny valley creepiness of the baby model itself works wonders for the game,
I actually first played the Jam version, which did feel underwhelming, before playing your upgraded version for this video, and was delighted to still find a few surprises.
I would love to see this game expanded upon - I feel like it could become equal parts strangely hilarious and genuinely terrifying if it had a slower buildup. At the moment, it barrels from zero to sixty very very fast, which is admirable in and of itself - and the fact that I want more demon baby shenanigans should be taken as me saying I want more of this weird and wild little game!

Thanks for playing! The glitch you found is a known issue and was fixed in the Post Jam Update 2 weeks ago.
Checkout the latest version for a tonne of polish, bug fixes, music and a full rework of the ending sequence :)

My PC couldn't run it at 60fps and there were no visual settings, but I still got to play and record it just fine :)
It was fun, I expected the baby to be a lot more hellish with creepy sounds, though.
