The controls are weird. The atmosphere is great though! I love the game, personally.

Using the mouse button for attacking when you're not using the mouse for anything else is just silly.  Z or X or ANYTHING else than a mouse button.

Oh, and mark your upload as part of a game jam when it is, so filters work (at least it showed up even though I had "Not in game jams" set).

control is a bit awkward....great graphic though

Hi! Thanks for the feedback ๐Ÿ˜ what did you find awkward about the controls?

(+1)

lol, came to the comments to say exactly this.

movement controls on the arrow keys and jump and attack for the left hand, maybe x&c would be better!

cool music too!

Interesting! Coming from a AAA TPS background most games I've worked on use both keyboard and mouse, so even though we don't use the cursor I thought it would be intuitive to use the mouse to attack.

I've never heard of attack on the left hand though, do you have any examples of other games that do this? I'll keep it in mind in the future, thank you!

lots of games use ctrl+alt for jump+attack. some use z&x but I hate that because I have a qwertz keyboard, please stick to ctrl+alt or x&c or so. thanks :)

I just loved this!

Games like this show the full potential of what you can do and create. The diversity and complexity in games is what surprised me most about developers like you Team Terrible. This was grand, solid gold, pure perfection. Enjoyed every minute of it and I really don't have enough words to describe the beauty of this small game.

I do wish more people could have seen this and paid attention to this and if you watch the video, towards the end I do have sincere review of the game and a minor complaint I have, not towards you or the game, but if you watch it, you will understand and I do hope you agree with me, because this game was phenomenal.

Cheers and good luck with this game.

Thank you for playing and for the kind words! We love making little games like this, it's a super fun challenge to create something in only 2-3 days! ๐Ÿ˜

Don't worry, we're working on it! ๐Ÿ˜ (check our discord for teasers)

Akubi was made for fun over the weekend for a competition called Ludum Dare.

I am sorry, I just need to say this, no disrespect to the developer by allowing myself to open up about your comment:
This game is not "The Baby In Yellow". I understand you like that game and want to see an update, but you can make a comment about it on the game's page. This game is "Akubi" and it is made by Team Terrible and looks like they have put a lot of effort and energy into this, so maybe be a bit more appreciative towards this work. If you are not interested, then once again, you can comment on "The Baby In Yellow".
No hard feeling, but this is a bit disrespectful to dismiss someone's work.
Hope you understand what I mean.
Good day.

having to use the mouse key makes it awkward on a laptop , any other key would be better for attack  :)
